Windows 10 End of Life

Did you know that Microsoft will officially stop supporting their Windows 10 Operating System on October 14, 2025?

What This Means for You:

Microsoft will end its maintenance and updates for computers running Windows 10 after this date. This includes the discontinuation of technical support, security patches, bug fixes, and new feature releases for your computers.

The implications of discontinued support include:

  • Security Vulnerabilities
  • Compatibility Issues
  • Performance & Stability Concerns
  • Lack of Technical Assistance
  • Potential Compliance & Regulation Issues

What Should You Do?

Between now and October, you should reach out to your IT provider to coordinate with users to begin updating compatible computers to Windows 11 to ensure your systems remain secure and supported. If you have any computers that are not compatible with Windows 11, you should budget and plan accordingly to review replacement options.

If you need any assistance with this, Macatawa Technologies would love to help keep your technology up to date and secure. Please reach out with any questions or concerns!
